With true integrity, we choose to use recycled polyurethane, completely leather free. We aim to create perfectly curated accessories to fulfill every aspect of your life. While doing so, we not only keep longevity in mind, but the planet as well. We all have only one Earth. Protecting the environment is the responsibility of us all, and we can look amazing while doing it.
What is Recycled PU? Short for Polyurethane, it is dissolved from a dry method waste film. It is mainly used to recover the rest of the adjusted PU from the scraper and from the production of PU dry veneer. The waste film PU will then be recycled as new raw material. It is GRS approved. What is this? Short for The Global Recycled Standard by Textile Exchange is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. The goal of GRS is to increase the use of recycled materials in production.
How does this help? One ton of yarn is equivalent to 67,000 plastic bottles, which can reduce 4.2 tons of Carbon Dioxide emissions, save 80 tons of oil and save 6.2 tons of water!
